not Fair!!!!, still not got my hands on a d4 satnav!!!
what to get a D3 and d4 plug though to make a simple plug in adapter...
got a DABS radio and already got the D4 dual connect roof antenna.... got two Fraka cables enroute...

can you update the unit in a D3 with a IID flash okay and will Mikey be able to provide this update?
I'm ordering a camera to fit and see if enabling it with IID works Robbo, a bit like the dimming function it's possible the head unit will trigger the screen via MOST (if I understand Wiggs correctly)
Greg .. I think you have got the wrong end of the stick ..
I suspect you will need the D4 head unit to go with the D4 screen .
The Gap CCF edit is designed to work like that Ade I think, Email from Pat

Gregg even with the software loaded from Gap to get the rear view camera working, I could not get my camera to work no matter what I tried. In the end I have fitted a D4 Gvif unit and now have my camera and Tv working on the new screen.
Pat@Gap is working on a few things for this so its just wait and see what comes out from it.

I got mine from these guys http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/pentagonparts/ They don't have one listed at the moment, but you could mail them and ask. I had the feeling they had a few.

To get TV, reverse camera and more, on the G4 screen i will install in my G3, should I also install a D4 gvif unit? Or something else?
If so, how is this done?
To get TV on the screen is there an additional TV unit to install? And what about DVD or connection to my mac Computer?

Hi, now I understand the problems with updating a D4 -2010 screen.
The D4 - 2012 screen apparently changed again and updates through a USB stick. VIN ralated???
Would it be possible to put a -2014 screen in a D3 instead of the -2010 screen?
Anyway, I now got the screen I bought on eBay.
Maybe it is a big mistake....
