Just went walk a bout in the work shop, and guess what I found.
A 9mm thick conveyor belt off cut and just had cut a set to see how it
would look. First impression very good, will do a temp setup later and upload

I have a cover fitted to the nose of my van . It is made out of 2 sheets of reinforced PVC sheet with a 20 mm thick piece of foam in-between them. The foam absorbs the stone impacts protecting the aluminium trailer skin and stops the bounce back effect of a stone hitting a hard surface. The foam also stops the stones from cutting into the PVC . The blanket is attached with Velcro and a cam lock fasteners making removal quick and easy.

Some great ideas here, will certainly come in handy later
Anyone seen or checked out the Imagine Trailvan? I'm thinking of getting a few sent to the UK. Maybe a group buy or something so we can fill a container! My thoughts are basically that its a good in between type trailer that could suit cooler climates better than the original type off road trailers. It can still get into some off the beaten track place in Europe as well.
Any info / input appreciated..2005 TDV6 HSE, Dual battery (TFC) with 1000w inverter,
Fitted finally, rear ladder and mantec plate - wow too easy
To be fitted : Thinking about ARB bumper

Discoeast, I think that bracket you mentioned also exists on my vehicle (SE), if this is what you are referring to:
Look at the bracket left of the exhaust silencer (where the LR logo is)
Looks like it would be fairly easy to fabricate a bracket to hang an extra set of flaps on. Wouldn't affect the ground clearance much, plus having the bracket further back would mean it would be more effective

Baben,
That's them, there will be two on each side and they have bolt holes
I've cut a steel working template and will post some pic's, it'll give you a good idea.
Got the D3 over the pit, working on the new filter mount looking at WTF LR
have tried to do with the fuel piping at the filter head, " T " pieces on both lines D3 bullbar-spots-roof rack with spots-ladder-long range tank-swing out spare wheel carrier- upgraded tow bar-dash console-internal water tank-duel awnings-drawer system & T T.

THat can definitely work. Nice bracket too. Lemme know how it goes. If you are making brackets, why not make a couple extra
