Been talking to some people about the problems I'm having and seems indeed not only a LR problem. Lots of other cars/brands reported errors due to bad/false connections in towing electrics, all since the 13-pin connectors were introduced.... 2017-...: Disco II Td5 auto, 1999, BAS remap, HD TC and auto box Ashcroft, Allisport IC, ACE, 2" lift only coils, BF goodrich KM2 265/70R17, FF front and rear bumper, TF steering guard and tree sliders, nanocom.
2013-2017: Disco 3 TDV6 HSE aut. of 2008, Britpart treesliders, IIDTool, RLD sump guard, BFG KM2 265/70R17, adj. rods, BAS remap + EGRs blanked, silicon IC hoses.
2010-2013: Disco II Td5 of 2000, ACE, front Bearmach HD coils, rear SLS, GG AT2

I thought I found the problem, but it isn't.
Been (test)driving for more than 1000kms without the towing connector connected and didn't have problems. Until 3 days ago, same errors from the beginning of this post in Italy. Don't know where I have to look for now. Car is in the garage at the moment, but I'm afraid it will come back next week with te same message: 'no problem found'.
I'm thinking it could have something to do with moisture/water. In Italy we had a lot of rain and last weekend I was off-roading (quite heavy with some wadings) and I cleaned the car with the high pressure cleaner. The car behaved well during off-roading but it looks the problems happen a few days after 'heavy water contact'. 2017-...: Disco II Td5 auto, 1999, BAS remap, HD TC and auto box Ashcroft, Allisport IC, ACE, 2" lift only coils, BF goodrich KM2 265/70R17, FF front and rear bumper, TF steering guard and tree sliders, nanocom.

Ok Disco back home. Brake bulbs replaced and reinstalled the brake switch. I did replace the switch myself but looks like I havn't done it correctly, in the garage they said it made the necessary "click" after they took it out and back in.
After some time and a decent amount km's I'll reconnect my towing electrics (after replacing the silicone filled connector).
I hope my problems are fixed now. I keep you posted, but I hope it'll take a llllooonnnngggg time before I have to post new experiences in this topic...... 2017-...: Disco II Td5 auto, 1999, BAS remap, HD TC and auto box Ashcroft, Allisport IC, ACE, 2" lift only coils, BF goodrich KM2 265/70R17, FF front and rear bumper, TF steering guard and tree sliders, nanocom.

I have a very similar problem. My D3 goes into safe mode and I can't reach more than 20 km/h. I erase errors with the Nanocom tool but they come back right away. Have I been told that the problem could be the fuel pump, the fuel pressure sensor or injectors? What do you think? Help, please.

Sorry HelderTDV6, I'm afraid I cannot help you. The problems kept coming back I ended up selling the D3. 2017-...: Disco II Td5 auto, 1999, BAS remap, HD TC and auto box Ashcroft, Allisport IC, ACE, 2" lift only coils, BF goodrich KM2 265/70R17, FF front and rear bumper, TF steering guard and tree sliders, nanocom.

No. There was indeed a moment they were thinking it could be the HP fuel pump. It was expensive to replace and there was no guarantee it would help. 2017-...: Disco II Td5 auto, 1999, BAS remap, HD TC and auto box Ashcroft, Allisport IC, ACE, 2" lift only coils, BF goodrich KM2 265/70R17, FF front and rear bumper, TF steering guard and tree sliders, nanocom.
