Right ...all you ummmer's and ahhhrrr's ...JMC has gone to some considerable efforts to arrange this programme of group buys for the the Mantec plate...
Now unless you are a 'Road Dweller' then you really need to consider the benefits of the plate at this fantastic price:
1/ It protects the intercooler from nasty sticks and sharp protruding things when your off-roading
2/ It protects the lower bumper section and underbody from blows by nasty boulders and Ramblers
3/ It looks 'hard' on your motor 8)
4/ A four year old could fit it ....Slimer did mine
If you are a 'Road Dweller' then points 3/ & 4/ still apply
I've had one since group buy no.1 and many of the regular off-roading crew do to
If ,in the unlikely event that after a year or two, you wish to pass on your plate in exchange for 'cash'....then I'm sure you'll be pleased with second hand values too
So come on chaps ...sign up now ....you know it makes sense 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Mounty, as we spoke before, I'm probably going around Europe in September but not sure of dates yet. If you pay for it, I'm sure JMC will hold onto it until I can either confirm the details or you've found another way to get it there. Bodsys Brake Bible

Mantec Plate European Delivery Service
As you may know JMC has some Mantec plates for sale at the moment and has a few remaining. I am about to drive to Romania from Scotland and could bring some plates out with me to deliver along my route or feed into a local D3 delivery network. This would reduce the international postage charge that may put some of you off buying this heavy item.
My stops on route at present will be (dates in July)
I have just come off the phone from Mantec and they have confirmed that all the plates will be delivered to me in about 3-4 days (beginning of next week w/c 16 July). Plates will be despatched from here by courier as soon as payment arrives, so if you sort out the funds asap then you should receive your new plate well before the end of next week.
There will be some plates left at the end of this group-buy and they will be available on a first-come/first-serve basis. There will be no change in the price (£220 inc delivery for UK customers). Mantec expect the new retail price to be over £300 soon due to the rising price of aluminium.
Once they are all gone, then that is it. If you want a plate - get your name up at the top of this page.
Also, Would those who haven't confirmed at the top of the page please do so. If you have made a payment, click the end column. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

JMC, you could start a Mantec customising business. Chroming (or maybe silver plating as DG seems to have done), how about gold plated for the Maya Gold D3s (rare but exclusive would be the marketing spin). Perhaps spray on dirt for that authentic mud look, sealed with lacquer?
