Hi Pete,

Any plans to stock the GSM version again? I managed to lose my Webasto timer when I last stripped out/refitted some mods and can't be bothered to have another stress-filled weekend of soldering and swearing trying to build another one up from scratch like meccano.

Hi sorry for the slow reply. This one missed me until now.

I have stock of the gsm module and when the next batch of kit1 is ready will be building some kit1&kit2 sets ready to go. Once they are built I'll add them to my site as ready to go items. I hope in a week or so

Pete.

Hi Pete,
do you still have any in stock?

Richard

Sorry none left in this batch, Pubs for the next batch are getting printed now. I hope soon I'll have more built. Once done I'll add the stock levels to my site for ordering.

tayaste, I have found the problem of which I appoogose for. It was a fault on the pcb manafacturing where the tind transistor that switches the FBH line wasn't "pick and place" by the machine correctly on pcb manafacturer.

I have replaced the transistor as well as adding you a new pin2 wire and connector and will send it back today with UPS.

Again, very sorry you have had problems as it should not have been the case. The pcb company will get a ticking off later hehe.

Hi Pete,
received my FBHIC today and after reading your fitting instructions on your website i'm a little confused, do I have to cut your pre made red wire to now add my own inline fuse?

Ordered a FBHIC yesterday, (showed 7 in stock) might arrive tomorrow, also interested to know if I will have to chop the + ve feed wire to put a fuse holder in. :roll:For the amount these things cost, I would have thought that would have been included.

^^^^^ It seems strange that I have to cut through the pre made wire to now add my own inline fuse, or has this been done away with. Question Confused

Any info Pete

The meniton is mainly there for the LHD cars who extend the wire 5 feet to reach the battery as the other side of the car.

Its not needed on RHD cars as the unit is only 6" away from the battery and in the same case Thumbs Up

Fitted mine on Sunday. What a simple job and a great bit of kit too. Now oddly looking forward to those really cold mornings. It's seems strange turning on the ignition when the cars been sat overnight to see the engine temperature is already almost up to running temperature. Clever bit of kit. Thanks.
