If you even had a very slight itch with the Audi, just have a little luck how much things are to do general servicing.....! Discos are fairly cheap compared to the the clit0ris cars.
My mate was working on a Q5 a few weeks ago, £500 just for the pads and discs all round! Psycho by name, chilled by nature....!

Been a little while since an update, but insurance company called today the "third party" insurance are disputing the claim, stating that I drove into them and I was at fault
The letter they wrote to my insurance company (Admiral), just states this with no further details (location, etc). We just reviewed the video of the incident on the phone and the lady at Admiral laughed when she saw it, can't understand how they are stating I'm at fault.
Anyway, she's spoken to her manager and both agree I am 100% faultless here and have placed this on my file - they'll be calling his insurance company later today for a discussion
Here's the video link again
But all this shows the importance of having a Dash camera!
In other news, I still have the Audi, as the repair centre couldn't get the correct headlight, as all the ones that turned up had the orange indicator lens , just spoken to me and I realised that mine were de-Tango'd
So when it comes back it will have a 'Tango' N/A headlight and a De-Tangod O/S light
Just purchased a pair of headlights for £50 off the Bay, will put the O/S one on, while I De-Tango the other at some point, before putting them back on, or I I may sell the De-Tango ones on the forum to get my dosh back Iggy/Ieuan

Could have saved you a few (well 30) quid, and cleared out some space in the spare room. Unfortunately I’m oop norf at the mo and heading straight to Oct Camping from here and don’t have the lights here so it doesn’t help either of us.

Middle of next week as being sent off for a specialist technician to look at it ready mid-next week
Got the Audi extended now until next Thursday, so looks like I will need to buy some Adblue Moo Iggy/Ieuan

OMG, Disco has failed quality inspection now
Needs a rub down and re-paint, at least parking sensors now fixed though.....Next date is now Monday for completion ( hope so!) due to backlog
So I'm still a "vostprun dirk technique" until then I want my Disco back now!Iggy/Ieuan

so VERY nearly had same thing happen to me this evening, albeit the "LHD" version as the Canute was in line of traffic waiting to turn right and changed his mind as I went to shoot past on the left.
damned good brakes these beasts have ! must seriously get a dashcam.
