Nylon over polyester or polypropylene

Why?

More stretch!

Note that on the nylon rope they give a UTS and a WLL.

Elongation/UTS etc is dependent on many factors including grade of material, the way the material is made to produce a fibre including draw factor and construction of the rope/webbing.

In general terms nylon is superior to polyprop for recovery of a vehicle.

In general terms I would suggest it is better to buy things like recovery items for a 4x4 from someone who deals with 4x4 equipment. OK it might cost a few quid more then places like eBay but at least you should be buying fro someone who understands how you are going to use the gear.
