Front window problem

I am having a problem with the front passeger window. The switch on the passengers door works OK and the window goes up and down. However, the switch in the switch pack on the drivers door will only raise the window. I'm suspecting either a switch problem or a wiring problem as it seeems the motor and solenoids are OK. Anyone ever expereinced anything similar?
