Hi,

My issues where finally resolved by replacing the Torque Converter. Obviously the issues on the Torque Converter were caused by non frequent transmission oil changes by previous owner.

Car is now as smooth as butter and no more noise.

Is your car still make this noise? Or did you make it anything?

BTW mine starts do this noise after TC rebuild. I use the car for one year with this noise.

Yes Romp did by fitting a new torque converter, I doubt very much any noise can come from the side air intake, a whooshing noise on deceleration is usually from the turbo.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
