If the alternator stops charging or is giving up doesnt the charging dash light come on?
Is there any sort of indicator we can fit that would give a bit of warning of impending failure?

Mine just done exactly the same, just died, no warning of any kind, bit pathetic considering all the other warning lights/notifications...doors,seatbelt,bonnet....etc...etc.....  East bound and down, loaded up and truckin......
