Parked next to me this AM was a FFRR....when I got to my D3 I could hear the FFRR FBH working away & the ice was niceley sliding down the windows either the owner had triggerd it to come on or it had a timer....
Question - can ny D3 be made to operate this way ?
I realise in the original D3's there was this facility...& other D3's had their FBH's turned off & owners had to get a Webasto or Ebersprecher mod to make them work...
I just wondered if anyone had cracked the software side of things that made the D3 FBH work independantly.....
My FBH did start up when I started the engine I thn used the heated screen to give me a clear view......nice but not as nice as it could be. BREXIT - done properly.

Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Is it 5 years....time flys when you are enjoying yourself.......so they say
& in the early years on here - well maybe best left unsaid
I honestly didnt see the point in auto control FBH's till today.....OK the D3 defrosted itself
I also had to hack ice off a nieghbours Glof that took me 25 mins + I got frostbite doing it
It was the casual way the FFRR owner just got into his vehicle & set off.....COOL !
Thanks for the data BREXIT - done properly.
