Hello and thanks
Been on here for a while first post to say hello, had my 2007 D3 SE from 5 months old so 15 years and counting, it's been a brilliant family car and workhorse for taking lots of stock to shows for my wife's business. Had lots of the usual issues, air compressor, hand brake module, oil pump pulley snapped - nearly terminal but we were lucky over the years, 174,000 miles just had sills done and finally starting to do a few minor mods in her old age!
This forum has been a so helpful with a wealth of knowledge and information from members and has kept me right on numerous occasions so wanted to say a big thank you to all on here.2007 Disco 3 SE -Owned since Feb 2008

Hi everyone, long-time lurker but only recently joined this forum, having been on the Def2 forum for a good few years with the same username.
Always had Defenders previously but I bought a 2013 XS D4 18 months ago and loved it. Since then I have been hunting for a newer version (MY16) with a higher spec and ended up purchasing this a few weeks ago from another member of this parish

Hey Martin and all other members, I live in the southeastern United States and just purchased my second Land Rover. A beautiful green 2011 lr4. We love the way it drives and how it looks, our other Land Rover was a 1998 Disco2 in blue. It was a great vehicle but we sold in a few years back. Recently my wife decided she wanted an lr4 so we found one and really enjoy it. We look forward to having many interesting conversations we you all!

New Member - Hello Everyone!
I have owned a 2011 LRD4 SDV6 HSE for a number of years now and enjoy driving the vehicle, especially trips out of the city. I take good care of it and have enjoyed trouble-free driving until recently when I wasn't able to start it at all. So I am realizing that as time passes by, the cars, like us, are ageing and it is perhaps acceptable to have some issues. The reason I signed up for this forum is the combined expertise and advice one can get and possibly learning something in addition. I will search through past topics and hope to find some tips and recommendations, but if I can't succeed, I will ask you guys for help.
Best regards.

Hello
Hello everybody.
I joined a few days ago, as we are looking to buy a Discovery 3. I have owned a 90 for over 20 years and my eldest is on his 4th Disco 2.
Finally my darling wife has decided to join the fold, she got fed up with her 3 year old Rav4, so it's been sold and is going to be replaced by a Discovery 3.
We have found one and all being well, it will be ours by the end of the week.
All the best, John.

New Joiner here need some help.
Hi, i've had my disco 4 for a few years now, not highly modded, more Just a stealth OEM+
It's MY12 pre-facelift but with newer front and rear lights. 19" wheels wrapped in Duratracs, Terra-F 30mm spacers with RR sport 4pot Brembo's.
My next modification is an black alcantara headliner, just wondering has anyone ever removed the headliner?? and does it fit out the rear or is it a windscreen out?
Thanks Rori

Hi peeps, I could do with some help, I have an 09 s3 GS and the FBH isn’t coming on, I’ve looked on the internet and found a site that says to remove fuse 28 to reset the heater, my car doesn’t have a fuse in 28, the heater looks like it’s never been used, the slot for fuse 28 just shows a star on the drawing on my fuse box cover and leads me to think that the heater has never been wired in from the factory, is this something that is done when the car was made or has the previous owner just removed the fuse, I’m new to the car so am still learning all the ins and outs of the car, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, kind regards Daz

Afternoon all,
We have had our D3 for nearly 7 years, mainly just to tow with and as a 4WD as we live in a rural area.
This last year we have had several problems with it, now hopefully fixed.
The most recent problem is one set of keys not working. I have joined as I have seen someone on here who can fix keys. However, I have to have at least 3 posts before I can use pms - so this is the first!
