I am a new member from British Columbia, Canada.
I have a 2005 LR3, with the Proud Rhino lift kit installed.
She is our daily driver, our work vehicle, our farm vehicle, our road trip truck and essentially our do everything, go everywhere vehicle.
We have done a few necessary repairs, some small upgrades, and regular maintenance over the past 6 years, and she has done extremely well in all of the these many roles.

Gadanga!
Not yet an owner, fancied a Disco 3 for a few years now, and I need to replace my late father's disintegrating old Volvo S70.
I've got a viewing and test drive arranged for an '09 plate 2.7 XS tomorrow, Stornoway, new gearbox, new upper arms and prop bearing, hopefully a good prospect.
If it isn't this one tomorrow, it'll be a different late model D3 at some point soon, so I figured I might as well register and start noodling my way through the forum.

Well, that was a dud. Ā£6k asking price, rusty sills, badly tappy top end, noisy pump, pressure releasing (or vacuum showing) at the expansion tank cap, black plastic arches painted without really any prep if I had to guess, random wires sticking out in the cabin...
Got an enquiry in for another now, we'll see.

Good evening, as a long time Disco owner I thought about time I did the social media bit.
Started off with a 200tdi 3 door D1,then a 300tdi Landmark (much loved) which I had for 9yrs and 110000miles, followed by a td5 which I adored till it got pinched. Played around with a few inferior 4x4s till returning 3yrs ago with a 2011 D4 XS,fabulous motor !

Hiiiii
Noob saying hello:-) š
On here to learn a bit more about my D4. I'm in the Costwold hills, the Disco is covered in mud and I'm absolutely loving this amazingly versatile vehicle. Probably the best I've ever owned š .

Hi All
New owner here
Have been searching for a D4 for quite a while but was petrified of getting the diesel & then the crank doing it's thing but didn't want to spend Ā£15k+ to get the 5.0 petrol as I want to use it for light off road - green lane stuff so now the proud owner of an '05 V8 HSE
Bit of a mixed start
Was very pleasantly surprised to find I have the very rare option of a rear locking diff
Then tried to get onto my local common ( only to turn round ) & it wouldn't go up the slope it is on scorpion tyres & was VERY wet & muddy & I nearly got stuck ... I was in a bit of a tizz & didn't notice whether the lock came on for the rear
Then I had the dreaded bing bong restricted mode engaged & suspension dropped As my break down cover didn't start for another 24hrs I turned it off for 2 minutes , restarted & back to normal & hasn't happened since
Haven't diagnosed yet as still deciding whether to get Gap or ICarsoft
Some odd noises on turning but as I don't have any LR experience it could be nothing
Still enjoying the drive though ... noise on start up is immense
Pete

Hi all.
I'm new to D3 ownership but have worked on a few, I've had a many other land rovers, had S11's, defenders, Disco1 and RR classics.
Just got a 08 auto that was too good of a price not to give it a try, 83k miles, near full service history and an Ivor Searle engine fitted less that 10k miles ago.
Loving it so far!

New LR4 Commercial owner
Hi there I'm just buying a 3.0 SD V6 SE LCV Commercial on a 65 plate
First time LR owner...
First task is to buy and fit the motors into the rear passenger doors - do I need to ask on a new thread?
Cheers, Ross

New member from the New Forest
Hi,
New owner here with a 2006 (56) Java Black 2.7 TDV6 HSE with cream leather. New Forest area.
Had a Freelander 2 previously, and found this forum from it's sister site fullfatrr where my dad is a member with his L322.
So far very pleased with the new car, FSH, 130k. Need to lose the 'drug dealer' tints though.
Hoping to benefit from all the knowledge on here, aware from the Fl2 and L322 that there'll be plenty of work to do on it! Got a BT Gap iiD arriving tomorrow in preparation!
