Hi everyone, and saying , Hello,,, is me you lookin for,,,, nah nah, in you head you hearing Lionel Richie, but in real life i would sound like Zed Mc Glunkout of Police Academy, I am new to the forum , so be aware i may of already posted this in the wrong section , and the forum moderators wondering who they have just let joined , and if the spell does not work you may think i am messaging in some kind of dyslexic Ancient dialect , the even world war 2 code breaker could not break , please bare with and apologies inadvance lol, just brought a discovery 3 06 , with a coulpe of problems and come across a few more in the few of weeks of owning it . i was prepared for it after all , This ant my first Disco Mann ,,I know you have to be handy with spanner to own a landrover or deep pockets or both, and a welder helps, in fact i fine tuned my welding skills to a perfection on my last disco, who needs a degree in coded welding, as soon as thet see your landrover keyring they know your a bang on welder, It was bought for the wife as she dose most of the driving and because i am getting tired of her dodging the smallest of pot holes going down road like see warming up the tires on the track, mind you 22inch low profiles on her chysler 300C didnt do it any favours ,mind you when you catch a good one, it did loosen your fillings , The landy should feel like a magic carpet compered to that lol, Once again hello

Hi
Hi all,
Don’t own one yet but I am currently looking for a Disco 3 or 4. I have previously had a Freelander 2 and miss having all the advantages of the space and off road capability. I have always wanted a Disco and feel now is the time with two kids and a dog.
I have joined as want to read up on the Disco 3&4 and I can see that allot of the adverts in auto trader have cars that have issues that the owners cannot sort out.
Thanks

Hello to everyone!
I'm a somewhat cautiously excited new owner of a well used '06 LR3. 134K miles.
Lots of repairs in the 5 weeks I've owned it, and lots more to go I'm sure. But I'm
a semi-retired carpenter & widower with a healthy amount of free time and fairly
good with mechanicals. Have a gap tool now and it is already proving to be essential
for getting this rig back on track.

Hello
Hi
I normally frequent the Jag XF forum (same TDV6 engine and issues) and look on here for maintenance tips and out of curiosity. It helped me hugely when I did my cam belt!!
I now have a friend with an intermittently poorly Disco 4 I'm trying to help with, fixed one fault, but hope to fix the others!!

Hi,
I've recently bought 2005 LR3 with 4.4 engine - some issues as always hope it will be resolved. Still it is great car same day we bought it we went to 600km trip so I've done around 2k km in 2 weeks. Hope I will get my LPG system next month as LPG is over 2x cheaper than gas in Poland.
Best
Piotr

Hi everyone,
I've recently joined as I'm very deep into the 'research phase' before looking for a D3 of my own. This forum is proving incredibly helpful so far. Somehow, despite reading up on potential issues - I've still not been put off
I've had a D1 and then a D2 for nearly 10 years. I think I'm ready to jump onto the emotional rollercoaster that D3 ownership promises to be!
Here's a picture of my D2. It's lovely, but I've never bonded with it .. and you need to love it if you're pouring money into it!

This seems like a really friendly and helpful community so I look forward to being part of it
Welcome to the forum Jbenekeorr….I’m sure you will find a wealth of knowledge and experience in the forum, along with many owners who are happy to answer your questions
