Hello ALL
Hello to one and all. Just recently purchased an LR4 to do some off roading but also some long road tripping. Not a total newbie to LR.10 years ago I had a 95 D1. That’s where I fell in love with the brand. One unfortunate thing was it had the motor and electrics that had the rough idle that nobody, at the time, could track down the source of. It was hell trying to pass pollution tests in order to a current licence plate sticker.
I took a break but call of the open and off road called my name and here I am back with an LR4. I am looking forward to talking with everyone and getting some top notch advice.
Cheers - Brian

Hello everyone
I’m Marian
Just wanted to introduce myself, been a member for a couple of years now , learned a lot from the forum, pretty good at being a non official, non trained swear 🤬a lot Discovery mechanic and owner, did everything from : servicing ,replacing prop shafts, hardwiring broken pins on the ECU, changing dashboard, bumpers , grills , adding heated steering, adding Car play and android auto , replacing spare tyre winch and many more to my Discos , had 4 Discovery’s so far , what a fantastic car it is , and what a pain it the butt at the same time 😀
Glad this form exists because it’s a source of knowledge for everyone, member or not.
Nice to meet you all👍🏻👍🏻

Well, hello all.
Been an absolute while since I joined an actual dedicated forum for a car but it seems I've learnt a fair bit from Google searching and always end up seeing posts for here so inevitably I have signed up here haha.

Hi all,
I'm 3 weeks into D3 ownership with my 2005 SE auto! I came from a low mileage Discovery 2 TD5 and loved it, but I decided I wanted a nicer car to drive to work every day.
My plans are to go full overland spec, I've got a roof tent, awning and winch from the D2 to get fitted.
I'd like an Xlifter, some BFG KO2's, and potentially compomotives down the line when the wallet allows.
So far just been tidying up the MOT issue and niggly bits, so replaced the lower arms for Meyle HD ones, and fitted some front air bellows today to stop the dropping front corner overnight.
I love it!

Hello from New member
Hello everyone.
I’m new here but not new to Land Rovers .
I have been working in JLR main dealer in Reading for 15 years all the way from nut and bolt to a master technician so I know them cars fairly good
I have L322 4.2 Supercharged and now I got myself Disco 3 and that’s the reason I have joined but this will be a separate subject.
Have a lovely day everyone.

New Member from Toronto Canada, just bought an LR3
Hi everyone.
I’m Tiago, from Portugal.
Currently living in Canada for over 10 years.
Always wanted an Land Rover, just grew up with family members owning land rovers. Finally got some spare cash and decided to pull the trigger. The idea is make the Lr3 second car for some summer trips and camping here in Ontario, great place to explore outdoors with tones of provincial parks!!
Will create a build thread for my Lr3, long story short found a ton of problems with it, floorboard water damage, all 4 sunroof drains were damaged with rubber elbows at the end falling apart. Now I’m facing the wiring corrosion. I’m very comfortable with mechanical work but still scared of electronics. At the end if I can make this run will become a master electrician

A warm welcome to new members, you’ve joined a great forum, please ask questions but also remember that the “search” facility may be the quickest way to an answer. If you haven’t already fill in your profile details as that will help us greatly when providing (hopefully) answers!
