Finally made it to the dizzy heights of 20" Stormers
Interesting as these are Silver & Gloss Black not the usual silver - pics in my gallery .
Whats the opinion folks as I am still unsure about the new look it has given my D3 ???.
Guess at worst I could sell them and go silver
As for performance on the 275/45/20 General Grabber UHP's - phenominal compared to my 19's with Pirelli Scorpions which were very good !!! . Drives great , grip, braking and handling to a new level - feels like improved acceleration as well.
No adverse wobbles, drifts etc. some have had - probably due to the great fitting and balance job done by an independant tyre depot in Swadlincote
Overall moving to 20's is a positive move to make just need to decide which colour you have them

I'm warming to them I have to say - guess used to seeing solid silver with black circle of rubber around it so this is a departure from the norm.

fitting 275/45/20's is like remapping your D3...
I've up-sized to 295/45/20's and the difference in acceleration is quite noticable... still pulls fine when rolling though....57 RRS TDV8

Ok so its a very capable off roader but equally can be used on road for Tarmac plugging , Landrover designed it that way!! - you have yr road set ala decent 20's & 19's and you have ya off road set, quite common for folk on here.
Would accept that one set doing all maybe a financial driven decision some make or indeed for practical purposes have to take - each to their own, that's what makes us all different and the world a varied place.
Bit of bling never hurt anyone

OK - so its an offroader, and so is mine when towing the caravan onto a grassy field, but for the majority of its life its a superb motorway mile eater, cruising at high speed in comfort, with great views (and with 77k miles in 3 1/2 years, its done a fair bit of this). Its a great towcar, a great people carrier, a great shed on wheels, and just sometimes a great offroader, which is why I want mine to look good on-road, not just looking like its lost a field somewhere.
