Mine were very tight TBH after i fitted the tyres from Ron, only ran them for a few weeks before i outed the car.
if i were going to keep them on i would of fitted spacers....however....the ride was toss compared to standard 19" hse rims and i would of probably changed back to standard fit if i had kept the car.

A better option in terms of ride and comfort on 20s was 275 50 20s...no clearance issues at all and a lot smoother ride, speedo is slightly out mind but not much.

Cheers for the reply Thumbs Up

So the result of all that is the Grabbers and V spokes do not mix without spacers

Wink

I'm still going to try the 9mm spacers and see how much thread is exposed before binning them totally.

I would say not necessarily.
LR don't make wheels, they're contracted out to wheel manufacturers.
There are lots of good manufacturers out there producing many quality goods .
But by the same token there are a lot of poor quality ones [ie Chinese imports].
At least with the LR branded wheels you are guaranteed a set quality.

My Stormers are copies, but excellent build.
I've used them for around 70k, even off road and no issues, [apart from the marks I put on them from off road use.]

18" to 20" you are going to notice a change in ride... slightly harder with tramlining more noticable too

Anyone know what the oem stud size/design is for the disco 3?

I may pre-order some longer ones to cover the additional 9mm of spacer.

What about 5mm Spacers?
Will that not give you a decent gap and yet still give enough bite for the nut on the stud?
Or is this size not available?

Yes I can get universal 5mm spacers, I was worried (as the tyre was actually touching the strut) that 5mm would not be enough

I've just ordered 4 x 120PCD 5mm spacers too..so I've covered all the bases!

sorry, just back off me hols, so joining in late - I had 295/45 grabber UHPs, on Vpsokes on mine, and clearence was OK

any play in bottem ball joints (ie, letting the battom of the wheel move out a touch)

Al

PS - with spacers, make sure they are hubcentic spaces, otherwise the wheel wont center, and you'll have major wobble.

if they dont include the hubcentric lip (both for the spacer to locate correctly on the hub, and for the wheel to sit on), you'll get wheel wobble, as the studs dont center the wheel on their own.
