Sorry Lex
Not in cloth
Out of the 6 colours they have previously sold some cloth ones so bean counters at LR say no to lower price on them.
Speaking with Iain he reckons it would be relatively simple to retro fit into original headrests or remove covering on original headrests and recover the new ones
If you want a look at them i'll be in early again in the morning TLO has left the building.......

It was more the hope that they're a bit smaller than D3 headrests; Wife #1 is suffering from back problems and wanted the headrests adjusted; thought I could "do a deal". From the comment about recovering, it sounds like they're the same size. My turn to Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Fitted the headrests at the weekend, very straight forward & look great. I have currently installed as per the original pictures with the AV inputs beside the aux audio input, which as i understand it is the OEM look. I am going to move these though into a small box & locate them under one of the front seats & thus you don't see all the cabling for the AV in-signal from your DVD player/Playstation etc.
If anybodies thinking of doing this upgrade i would thoughily recommend it for a very resonable investment. I am now looking for a VEBA DVD player with USB in which i think i will mount in the glovebox. Any thoughts on this location or a recommendation of a suitable machine?

The kits are actually FL2 kits but integrate into the D3 seats very well (they also fit a '57 plate Fiesta )
The kits include replacement headrests with the screens already installed, wiring, 2 x IR headphones, input panel & power filter. The headrests are slightly smaller than the standard ones, they can also be height adjusted (but not tilted).
Note that the input panel has to be modified to take the extra connectors, or you can buy a D3 specific one for about £47
The kits are available for £180 inc vat + postage from Yeovil LR for DIY fit
Or from £330 inc vat fitted (price is dependent upon your location and any additional options)
There will also be the option to have it fitted at Midland Tinting's workshop - price TBC
The kits are available in Ebony and Alpaca leather (not 'premium' leather) and some cloth colours, quantities are limited, the original list price was just short of £1200!
Hi, would you ship to Australia for me? if so approx cost to Sydney ? (postcode 2000) thanks..

Hi Cheddarwards,
From the piccies it looks to me the screens are tilted upwards a bit.
My kids are 4 and 2 yo, both on child seats of course. Still their heads are below headrest level and they have to look up to the screens. I'm afraid they will only see a reflection of the light headliner instead of Dora the Explorer and the other stuff I would like them to use earphones for.
Can you comment on this?
TIA
