MNM LR3,
I can't see why not. I guess it's just down to hom much work would be involved. However, here are a few thoughts to consider.
1. The 2nd row headrest are smaller so you may need to use the existing ones.
2. Folding the seats down/flat needs to be considered.
3. The AV module will need a place for installation. A custom location maybe required.
4. 12V power & Ground needs to be located. The rear would be a good choice. You will need to extend the wires to reach it.
5. Powering all 4 screens from one souce maybe difficult but not impossible. Basically you need to split the signal 4 ways obviously.
6. 2nd AUX wouldn't work I guess. not that this is an issue if you are watching the same movie on all 4 screens and using the existing AUX on the two main screens (behind the passenger and driver seat).
7. Routing cables through the seats maybe an issue.
Bottom line. Maybe difficult but possible!!

is another option to use units that install into/on to the head liner, or is this fraught with too many issues of fixing/securing units in place?? Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

Hi everybody,
i`m new here. I will get my new Disco4 in the following week. Unfortunately the screens don`t fit to the D4.
@Russel: You realized the project in your D4. Do you have some pictures about the work, which needs to be done?
Would you do it again or change to another system, a roofmounted system for example?
Is there anybody else who mounted Nicks system in a D4?
The better solution would be a fitting system for the D4, but there is no hope, that something would appear next time?
Best regards, Jonny

Johnny I fitted them in my D4 with no problems what so ever. The D4 head rests appear to be slightly smaller than the D3's. The wiring is identical and I used the panel at the back of the arm rest and fitted it exactly the same as MAC did. Any issues drop me a pm. One last point, I was a bit concerned when cutting the leather as the stiching fell very close to the screen/box but there were no issues. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Hi All
I am looking at putting one of these (Zenec ZE-AVS Audio Video Switcher) http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/images/ZE-AVS.jpg
to control the rear screens, it can switch feeds from four different input to four outputs and also turn on and off the monitors.
Has anyone used one before and can provide any feedback, also where would be the best place to locate?
Thanks

I eventually got a pair of these from TLO in black leather, was going to transplant them into the D3 headrests but TBH they are such a close match; didn't bother just cut the two holes in the sides instead. Plumbed in via a three way switch to an ipod composite lead and DVD player, outputs to the screens and GVIF box and LR audio input module, job's a good un
Anyway the point of this is that I needed a third pair of wireless headphones but they aren't available (even though there is a LR spares part number) so I sourced a pair of infra red ones from the 'bay of evil' at the huge cost of £18 delivered and they work fine, all that is needed is a spec of A channel 2.3 Left and 2.8Ghz right channel and/or 3.2 left 3.8Ghz right channel all I could really do to make it neat is some right angled RCA 'Y' cables, any ideas anyone? and theeeeennn......???

Anybody know what the native resolution of the FL2 screens are? I'm experimenting with DVD ripping to get as many films as poss on a USB stick. A shrunken size of 652 by 364 is the best that I've found to date but what have other people found?
I'm considering upgrading my install to use the D4 MY12 aux panel (as per page 15 of the brochure). Anybody know how the USB is integrated? Is it an extension port (like the ACM USB) and therefore has a USB connector on the other end or is it integrated into the audio system "properly" and has a proprietary connection? Club missing my D3

Hi.
Are these headrest/screen kits still available.
I had a set just the same in my Freelander 2 and they worked well.
