THese are the results. Very bad news.
You would need a new Factory Wire Harness for the entire truck. Cost is outragous and install would be just as much. You also need the "Locker Control Unit" along with the locker itself. Now you have spent probably over $10k and have all the hardware installed, all you need is the software to run it which probably takes a new ECU or such and several thousand more.
Anyone interested on buying a 06 LR3? I will get a new one with lock

I am yet to see a D3 without a rear locker not able to go where a D3 with a locker can go ...it might take a bit longer but it will get there Hardly worth changing the motor for ...no? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I'm confused gtiturbolr3??????? You were friendly on LRRForums (my home forum) and aggressive over here. WTF? Both forums gave you the exact same information. DISCO3 is the best source for D3 info. PERIOD. Trust what they give you. I'm sorry you don't like the answers they have provided. Give it a shot and let us know. Have some Bacardi and chill at the beach. Cheers 2006 D3 Tonga Green

Everyone who gets agressive, really.
I mean, if the dude doesn't listen or read posts properly or whatever, I think it would be better just to ignore him. (I do understand, though, that there were some personal jabs there).
There are some other forums around that are getting decidedly unfriendly and I wouldn't want to see this one go the same way.
That's all. Have a nice day!

Just getting caught up from not reading posts over the weekend.............
I'd just like to point out to you "Catweasel", that comments such as "pushy nature suggests you are from the US" is a bit pointed. As an American with 15+ years of living overseas to my name, I do still hear comments like this from time to time and find them factually incorrect. I have been in business on several continents and can assure you that there are pushy people in most "first world" countries I have spent much time in.
Yes, some Americans are pushy. Some Americans have names like Bob and Margaret and travel around the World wearing track suit pants. I have neither of these traits and would greatly appreciate you putting your paint brush back into you closet and stop making comments of such a broad nature.
Point your finger where it needs to be pointed and keep you generalisations to yourself.
