Sounds like you steering angle needs re calibrating. Quite common for car to drop to bump stops when it's not set right. You will need something like an IID tool to reset the angle.

It's well worth buying a tool that can read and reset your codes. It will save you a fortune in garage fees. I can assure you that owning a D3 will mean a lot of code reading and resetting
Just ask anyone on here

yes... but not wrong.....doing the tracking.. aligning.... mechanical ....that is what you asked for Wink
on the D3 the alignment of the wheels has to be spot on with the steering angle sensor... and can only aligned AFTER the mechanical wheel align work..

yes, and i think not a standard garage/workshop, but it needs to have the proper LR tools..

The suggestion of buying a IID from Gap https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/ is quite a good one looks expensive, till you see what LR will charge you

sometimes they show up here on the forum, pre used... around 300/325 gbp but then you have to buy a transfer fee...

isn't that obvious? the angle sensor was aligned in line with the wheels...

now the wheels are aligned, significant different than they were... seems obvious to me that the angle sensor is way out now...

1 + 1 to me Thumbs Up

I find it surprising that you have owned it for 5 years and today is your first day on the forum
I don't think I had mine for a week before I was on here.
