Strange but annoying noise

Funny you should mention that about the little spring clip in the pads Bobo. I lost mine when I did my bearing the other week. The good thing is you are considering it now so you will be careful. I completely forgot and didn't realise until I went to put the sensor back in place. After failing to find it on the floor, I had to nip out to buy a sensor from ECP so I could fit the spring back in place.

Concerning the hub though, as I mentioned in your other thread, whacking the old one with a lump hammer bit by bit on both sides will get it off. From memory, I think this is what Doug also does in the Atlantic British video.

He certainly does Kev, he only showed the first couple of hits on the video and he wasn't holding back Laughing the Pads and the discs have just been replaced, so hopefully everything up to the hub should come away ok and for the last few days while the cars parked at work part of my morning patrol is to spray the hub nuts and anything else in that area with WD40 Thumbs Up

Decided to put my head above the para-pit and give those that are interested an update Thumbs Up
Friday morning, suns out all the tools out all ready to go and my breaker bar snaps mid turn Censored any other time I would have jumped in the car and replace it, but times are not normal!! So a long story short I phoned a garage in Liverpool and they sorted it Monday morning, lovely and quiet Thumbs Up
Really pi##ed that I didn’t get to do it, but I think there was to much that could of went wrong and I needed it back on the road ASAP Thumbs Up
So thanks everyone for the advice and guidance, but maybe next time Rolling Eyes Thumbs Up
