Would you give a Diesel engine a shot of petrol to start it?- I know we did 40 years ago but this stuff is far more volatile than petrol, it can cause the engine to fire and then backfire, it can and will break piston rings even used at the correct dosage, it works magic at cleaning oil off cylinder walls leaving the pistons to run temporarily metal to metal regardless of what super duper expensive oil you use to stop that happening.
It is very much like a drug or medicine, the first time you take it a little works wonders but every time you use it it needs a little more as it is creating wear until it will not start unless you use half a can and you suddenly find the engine oil has suddenly disappeared without a leak. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
