| Tailgate electric connections |
|
Just fitted new upper tailgate latch & cable plus emergency pull. All works OK, top and bottom sections until I connect electric plug onto top latch then lower tailgate button will not operate. Take plug off and then both work. Why is this, what is electric connection for Disco 3, 50th V8 90, 127.

Might be to do with rear number plate lamps

I'll check to see if they work, wondered if it might be to do with central locking or alarm system Disco 3, 50th V8 90, 127.
