Due to eBay excitement, I have ended up with two radars. If anyone is after one, I have a BH32-9G768-AD that I would like to sell. £175 is what I paid for it and I am obviously not looking to profit from it so would sell it on for this including postage. Send me a PM if you are interested!

OK - I had (and currently still have Sad) dumb CC but have both the 10 and the 4 way cable/connectors so when I fitted my new switch pack it was same as the old one.
I have heated wheel (but that is the other side) and flappy paddles so maybe there is the difference and why the additional 4 way is required. It just uses a resistive ladder I believe.
From the electrical diagram I looked at it just showed the vol +/- OK, set, res cruise with ACC etc. on the 10 way. So the additional 4 way may not be required if you don't have paddles?

You're right, the additional harness is for flappy paddles, which I already have Sad The cruise controls is all CAN so obviously no extra wires required! FFS, so far I've wasted £120... hey ho, you live and learn.

I meant to put this up but forgot.
Yellow is the 4 way - C2284, green is the 10 way - C2283.

Headway +/- being the ACC distance.

Too late sorry but can you not return it if unopened?

Mjon89:
I would have been interested but I’ve been advised to wait for a DPLA-9G768-AD, although in a previous post a DPLA has had to be reflashed Sad .
As B = 2011my year and H3 is the type of chassis it is highly likely it would need a reflash for a 2014my.
It seems to be a minefield to me getting a suitable sensor, I think the cost of a reflash has got to be assumed at least it will help to justify the cost of the Iid which I already have.

Yes that is the one to use If it matches the colour of the RH switchpack otherwise you would get the gloss black one. As mentioned rimmer bros or if you are local to a dealer try them as there will not be any carriage to pay from them even when they have to order it in. they can usually get it for the next day. Thumbs Up

Can you or anyone else with more knowledge than me please confirm I am ordering the correct switch pack for a 2014my facelift, see reply from Rimmer Bros.

If your wheel is Gloss black then that is the correct one to get. You cannot (as you would normally) use the vin to order the part for your car as this is a mod that requires a later switch. Thumbs Up

You have to get the one that matches the existing colour of your steering wheel switches as it has to match the R/H switchpack. You can take the switches apart and change over the ACC distance switches but that is a bit involved and not recommended. The colour you need should be easy to work out! (If you are in any doubt post a picture of your wheel!)

Hello,

Thank you for messaging Britcar UK.

How can I be of assistance today?

i am trying to fit adaptive cruise control to my vehicel and found what looks like correct part for steering wheel controls as this item LR062416 can you verify for me please it is as shown on picture and compatible with D4 produced in late 2015?

vehicles vin ..........

hello?

Hi,

Did the vehicle have the cruise control before?

it has cruise now

LR062416 will be compatible to vin. You may need to check on forums on how to install this as it is not a recommend mod from Land rover

i know how to just needed confirmation if vin range would be OK with that part thank you

also what is vin range for this part should you not mind disclosing this info?

would it also work on 2014 year car?

From Vin FA000001 onwards

The colour is correct for my car - gloss black. The question I’m asking is will this switch pack work on my Face lift 2024my with the above VIN?- I think it will but confirmation would be appreciated Bow down

Yes you should be ok with that switch even although yours is an earlier vin as this is a mod and the Fa vin quoted is from when Land Rover started to fit it as an option. I have a 2016 MY which when after having the battery disconnected reverts back to 1/1/2013 so the tech on it is at least that old! The caveat being that there is always a small chance that it won`t work and you have to sell the parts on. That was the way I looked at it when I was doing the mod on mine!

Switchpack includes all that you have now with the additional buttons on the side for ACC. You can fit it prior to the ACC cabling/radar fit/config as normal cruise and radio etc works as normal until coded other wise.

You can fit it and it will work as I have done it already, as mentioned in the thread and the car will ignore the additional ACC buttons until you code it at the end of the job. All works as before until then. So IF the ACC retrofit doesn't work out on my 2014XXV then I'll just keep it fitted but move the radar on.

I just ordered the switch pack from LR in gloss black and collected it. Checked for a 10w and 4w and nothing else before paying, came home and fitted it. Job done. Never asked for the VIN as I told them what I wanted. I can take a photo of the part number on the box if you are in doubt?

As Dondiddy says, all at your own risk/expense and that is OK for me.

If you can wait a few weeks I can let you know how mine goes as mine is the same year as yours and I "plan" to do it over Christmas.

How is the plug ordered from the site shop as can't see them listed?
