You could set up a favourite list and just set it up in a different sequence using Mikey's diagram to set that up. Then as long as you start at the top of the list & work down it will mimic the engine layout.
Would look like:
Inj 2, Inj 1
Inj 4, Inj 3
Inj 6, Inj 5

Thanks, I'll give it a try, but sorry to say you've got it wrong looking from the front of the engine, you have done it from the rear which shows easy it is to change the wrong injector when only changing one, it would be easier if the Iid tool was programed to do it automatically, maybe some other reason why it isn't.It can when others can't,

Yes is does work but I've just noticed I've got 2 and 6 wrong way round and the job has come to a standstill while I obtain another sealing washer as the first one is playing hide and seek

What a difference an injector makes!
Thanks to Bodsy to first noticing the engine was hunting on start up nearly a year ago and Disco_micky's instructions to give me the confidence to change it and not forgetting the manufacturers of the Iid tool to be able to pin point the fault

That's a lot better
You should notice the smoothness returning, well it did when i replaced 3 injectors.

Never had any problems starting, but it was lumpy for the first 20 seconds or so and occasionally it would blip and almost stall when changing from reverse to drive, it now starts instantly and is smooth, amazing how you can think everything is ok and running smooth until you are given the incentive to check and hopefully put everything right and thanks to Mickey fitted the £3 TD4 sealing washer which is exactly the same size as the one in D3 kit that now costs £38 + vat and cannot be bought on its own.It can when others can't,

It's amazing how you get used to it slowly getting worse and struggle to notice until it is real bad.
