My question was more, "What is the worst that could happen if I leave this fault to develop noticeable symptoms?". I've heard horror stories of holes being blown in pistons due to increased combustion temperatures caused by over-fuelling.
I'm quite prepared to leave it and see how it develops whilst I have no noticeable symptoms. Am I risking further damage to anything in the meantime?
Steve
Poor spray pattern may lead to "hot spots" burning onto the piston
Incomplete combustion is compensated by the PCM adding more fuel, which raises combustion temps again

So, the ~1390 readings seem very intermittent. Nevertheless, I've got two injectors - 3 and 4 - that are reading high.
If you refer back to my original post at the top of this thread, Injector 6 was the one that was reading highest.
This, is why I'm reluctant to start changing injectors...

Two things you are missing on your test are engine temperature and RPM, add them to your Iid tool test screen, you may find after the engine has reach normal operating temperature and higher RPM the injectors are operating within spec It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

RPM will be at idle with those figures.

Engine temperature was cold (had been parked for about 6 hours) and RPM was indeed idling (you can't read these values unless idling) so I guess around ~780 RPM.
I'll take another reading later on when it's up to temperature.

I am sure when I had a play with my tool I got readings at around 2000rpm! and they balanced out, unless there is a default on the Iid tool when rpm is increased. It can when others can't,

Yes, you will, but they won't ever move.
When idling, you will find that the values fluctuate quite a bit. When you put your foot down, you will probably find that they all settle at something like 999.000.

Thanks, Nubber99.
I've been keeping an eye on this over the last week or so. A few more screen captures of what my IIDTool is telling me...
Reading on Friday:

Readings Today (when I arrived at work and when I got home from work):

In all three cases, the car was up to temperature and had just completed a ~40 mile trip on Motorways, A roads and B roads.
I'm inclined to think I need to replace 3, 4, and 6 at the moment, unless anybody else thinks otherwise?

3,4 and 6 do look very iffy
Though if the readings of one 3 are fluctuating as much as that, I'd be prepared to replace all 6

Will these readings be different on an engine that has a remap?
As can be seen in the photos injector 4 that I am about to change is consistently high, but relating it to which one it is on the car is very technical.
One for PatGap; it would be much easier to relate the readings to the engine if the display order on the Iid tool was relevant to standing in front of the car, as they they are I find it very confusing for an amateur.
