Thanks for the replies so far
Looking at the site we will need to the side that dosent have the wheel lock so all should be good in that respect. And yeah don't get me started SWMBO's hand signals when hitching up. As she has the same one for every possible direction.
When I get home from work I'll have a look at recommendations. Also if you have any for sale can you send me a PM.
Cheers

They are great but with a twin and axle locks you need a single too in case the side that is low is not the side with the receivers which was my problem - if you just have a clamp no problem
Also SWMBO had to tell me when the first wheel was lined up to fit the lock then I could inflate the second wheel to fit the other lock. This provided HOURS of entertainment for the rest of the site and nearly ended in divorce. I went back to the ramps
I have a motor mover so very lazy & can be leveled & locks fitted & finished in 5 minutes - job done
I leave swmbo to get the water to put the kettle on
As others have said very expensive - what isn't that we have on this site ! - but to me worth it Previously those that have a special place in my heart

You can get SWMBO to do the water
I used to do that too Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
Bought the yellow fiamma ramps secondhand on eBay with bag for £10
Have added jacking points each side and 12v electric jack all sorted in a few minutes
Reversing onto a pitch is definitely a spectator sport - saw one in Norfolk which could have quite easily ended in divorce as the driver jumped out and shouted in front of everyone don't bloody worry about what everyone is looking at just look where I am going !D4 2010 HSE Santorini Black

Last time I went to Norfolk it was level so it wasn't me but sounds familiar
Like Andy said SWMBO uses the same hand signal for all instructions and somehow manages to stand in my blind spot every time. Add to this her inability to call instructions loud enough to hear
For years she has told everyone caravanning is hard work - she only leaves the passenger seat to watch me reverse into the hitch (supposed to hitch up) and check the level gauge while pitching - apparently between stop and my checking it somehow moves every time
I've been tempted to buy a mover so many times
Once I've driven all the way there, set up, put the heating on and filled the water, etc she comes in the caravan and says she's shattered Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I brought an inflatable Lock and Level and it is great
Russell, do you have a link? As trying to reverse and level a twin axle tintent with swmbo is a nightmare, let alone adding 23 month old twins into the equation

I would really recommend it, and to be honest a motor mover - bloody expensive !!
We currently back partly on to the pitch unhitch the tow car & the boss moves the car whilst I turn on the motor mover move the van into position, lay the level next to the wheels when lock in the right position, then move forward & slide the level under the van, move the van back over the level - fit the first lock, inflate with a 12v pump, in my case from the van 12v, fit the second lock equalise the pressure in both bags, check van level side to side & usually let the air out until its level, happens at a very controlled speed so you can check inside the door side to side, when level close the valve put dust cover on, level front to back & put the legs down.
It really only takes 5 minutes once you have done it a few times
PS have no association with locknlevel just a great product for me.
All this is a lot harder if you are having to back the van onto the pitch & rely on hand signals from the bossPreviously those that have a special place in my heart

On our TA I use a waffle board and if very uneven put follow chocks under it. Once the van is level I then jack it to put the second lock on, very easy and straight forward.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
