Thanks buddy.
I'll always ask for help where I need it
Just trying to get it running right before dragging the tintent across Germany in the summer.
Gareth, I don't think it's just my perception, I used to be able to accelerate uphill all the time. On the flats it's ok or at least it's not noticeable, but on the hills Bodsys Brake Bible

Ok, what about the gearbox? There may be nothing wrong with the engine. If the gearbox is not working properly then it will be inefficient.
I always suspected the adaptive learning on my D3's was flawed. It always ran better after the adaption was reset.

This happens with adaptive systems. The adaptive system on the Freelander V6 and other Rover KV6 powered vehicles can get corrupted adaptive values. This can cause all sorts of little running errors and general lack of power. These are fixed by a simple adaptive reset.
Maybe that's the way forward with the D3.Freelander SE 2005 Auto.

Could it be exhaust restriction caused by the cat. breaking/blocking up?It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
Fuel pressure seems low - or at least a lot lower than mine under the same conditions.
Mine hit 97000+Kpa, compared to about 35000Kpa.Mark.

yours also revved higher, so I'd expect a variance as well as the remap you have. need to do side by side same vehicle comparison really. Bodsys Brake Bible

Here's one that breaks it down more. I re-did it to a higher rev and 'seems' to be OK, but yes the first one doesn't look right. Seems MAP value and Fuel Pressure on that one, but not on this PDF.

The pdf does look better but does not explain the lag on the fuel pressure on the first screenshot nor the strange flattened or offset peaks on the pdf.
Your IIDTool could also do with a bit of an update - B2034 has some nice new features.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

True values before and at that peak for RPM is 3226 - 4412 - 4408 - 3313 so I can understand why it looks flat. Perhaps I hesitated slightly at that point?
Do you want the CSV values? would that help with anything?Bodsys Brake Bible

Oh and I'd gone back to 1815 last week to fix a problem I thought I was getting with programming my BT modules.
So will update tonight to the latest 20XX version (no doubt will have been updated further by the time I do it tonight! Such is the pace of progress! Bodsys Brake Bible

I think I'll take the RAI off tomorrow & see if it helps. Don't have any off road planned for the next few weeks anyway. I think I've still got the air intake grill in the shed. Bodsys Brake Bible
