I've only ever used Frank Oggs for parts but had heard they were very expensive. I would've given you a hand to change it.

By my reckoning at 0.5 for diagnostics and 0.4 for fitting that's £172 per hour
They have charged you the menu price for fitting the belt and again for fitting the tensioner and conveniently omitted the fact that they need to all but remove the firking belt to fit the tensioner
Had this crap with my HPFP - they wanted to bill me the menu price to fit the new belt and tensioner, despite the fact they had removed this in order to remove the HPFP (and of course billed me for it in the price for the HPFP!

It now needs a new AC compressor pulley. They put it all together and it was still rumbling, found the pulley was turning roughly.

Well all sorted (or maybe not) and my wallet significantly lighted.
Took her out for a run today to try & see if I can replicate the ESF fault and noticed the car was misting up badly. Went to turn on the AC only to see it was already on. My first thought was "is the AC now knackeded?". I've never had misting up issues with the car unless I drive in the rain with AC off.
Is there any way I can test the AC, I can't see if the air is being cooled below ambient as it's +1c outside. Will be most peeweed if the AC compressor's been knackered fitting the pully.
