The Engel MT35 and MT45 units use about 1.5 amp as a fridge and 2.5 amp as a freezer which is less than the Waeco units. Engel also has stainless steel hinges and catch compared to plastic used on the Waeco units.

Sadly a fridge is a long way down my list of D3 priorities, lurking just beneath item 96 : install antigravity drive, although I may change my mind if I do Desert Storm 2008I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Just test loaded my 40 litre Engel.... 53 bottles of San Miguel - must try and work out how to fill the other 22.51 litres of wasted space
Take the caps off first, you'll fill it all that way The End

For those who dont need an expensive fridge ...Aldi have got some 30 litre one's in stock at the moment.
240v and 12v ...at £29.99 ...3 year warranty
I got one this morning and had it plugged it most of the day ...keeping nice and cool G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Its official.. the best fridge is the Engel 35 with two-zone extension taking it up to 56 litres i think
