bubbling on window lower rubber seal

Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a Disco 3 and it is quite a clean one. There is however a strange bubbling appearing on the driver side rear door window seal at the bottom (see the low res picture below)

I've been told that it is quite common and just needs a new rubber seal. Had anyone else had this problem?

A quick easy fix, I did one of mine a couple of weeks ago, took about 5 minutes Thumbs Up

It's also a common problem on older Disco's too, 1's and 2's, but recently I've noticed quite a few other cars of various brands with the same thing so it's not just a LR thing. Clive

I have some new ones to fit ....

The ones I have on the new D3 are fine..... I just bought them for my old clocked D3....

So I will fit the new ones and take off the old (which look fine TBH ) ....

You can have them for £5 each plus postage if you want Very Happy

Think they are over £25 each side if you want new .... Thumbs Up

Save you a bit and get some back for me too just let me know Laughing

Steve, they are about £15 each from the stealers,
The folk that say TLO Nick at Yeovil no he won't post them out unless you have a big box to put them in with.

Be very carefull removing them if you want to sell them as they bend/crimp very easily.

Really simple 2 minute fix, 2 torx bolts, window down pull off, replace, replace bolts job done

£5 was only trying to help ... I remember fronts were £15 ish plus VAT and rears £21 plus VAT ....

Maybe be my memory though Al Snigger

Mine are both in a round tube like box so no probs in posting ...

Obviously if I Censored it up they'll be binned Laughing

Was only trying to help as two at £21 plus VAT is £50 Whistle and it soon adds up ....
