Does your Sub Woof ??

Question for any HSE owners, or those with the premium HK Logic 7 system.

In the menu that adjusts the bass, treble, balance, fade, etc. There is an option to adjust the sub woofer volume.

When I adjust that setting, I notice no difference at all. Either minimum or maximum there is no change in the deep base notes that I can hear at all.

If I sit on the tailgate, the woofer is definitly subbing! cos' I can feel the vibes, but the adjustment seems u/s.

Can someone try the adjustment on their car and tell me if a definite difference occurs?

Cheers

Sub Bass

Hi Gareth,

Sub bass is a phenomenom chiefly desired by "the young of today". It first appeared in the early 1970s, in a style of music known as reggae.

Is this the genre you are listing to ?

You may find a distinct lack of sub bass present in music from the Carpenters, Max Bygraves and Des O Connor. Laughing

Mine adjustment makes no audible change either G Shocked so must be a standard feature across the ICE range. But I'm sure the music will make a difference as Chris suggests Wink

Gareth isn't old, maybe he just has refined tastes Thud

Try puting on some baggy jeans & hip hop Gareth. Something with a deep base tone you can really tell the difference. I tried Usher 'Yeah' - with the woofer at the lowest setting can't even hear/feel the low beat & at it's highest setting its a thumpin Mr. Green 8)

Yeah!
