I really would not bother... better to take SWMBO out or something.. or walk the dog.. It will be cold and wet and TBH not much to see... Whistle Whistle Whistle

If I were to go.. (not that I will of course) what does the knowledgeable peeps on here think the Commercial D3 might go for? (+ Vat of course Evil or Very Mad )

Aye.. that was the one the SWMBO was looking at, however I have decided genuinely noy to go tonight.. Sad It would be a nice to have... but not essential as her Freelander does the Job with better MPG and can still tow 2 tonnes.. and its all liveried up.. She also pointed out the she would prefer a Defender 90 commercial in Silver or green as it ould go better with her Company log and image .

If anyone is going perhaps you can give a bit of an update/report on the selling prices?

looking at the bidding online in general some bargains to be had a 57 defender 110 went for £13.5k plus commission for example with 19k on the clock , was looking at hiluxes but some made good money some silly money. Growing up is optional, growing old is mandatory !

Said commercial went (provisioally) for £10,200 + VAT Shocked

That was the busiest I have ever seen that auction. Well over 300 people there, plus online bidding.

Didn't buy anything myself. Got cold, and bored, and anything later on I might have been interested in would have gone through around half 10 Mad My D3 Build Thread

I assume no bargains at the front end of the auction then?

Was it traders or private buyers?

You have to hand it to them ... good marketing if it was so busy... and people have Snow, Ice & 4x4's on their mind.. hence prices pushed up....
