Glad to say my MY55 passed the MOT yesterday and reasonable well with 135k on the clock.
There where 2 advisory items though and your advice would be appreciated.
1- Offside outer front track rod end ball joint has slight play
2- Rear brake pipe slightly corroded
The rear break pipe was listed on last years (previous owner)
Its not that many miles since I have new front wishbones and 4 wheel alignment, the garage didn't say anything at that time and I asked them to check everything.
The car feels great so just wondered what you would advise needs to be done.
ThanksMark

Get the rear pipes done. Just had mine done and they were ready to start leaking!
They were an advisory earlier this year.

Slight play is nothing to be concerned about.
The brake pipes do rust and have been known to fail. I'd start looking for a good indie to get them replaced with copper pipe at a time convenient to you.

any idea of costs and time for the brake replacement?Mark

Depends if you want to use expensive original LR parts that require half the car to be disassembled to only rust-out again, or to use cheap bendable copper that can be threaded in with ease and will last for many many years?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

A friend's was done at an indie for £100 inc and he did the minimum. Really depends on how much needs replacing.
Disco_Mikey has done a fair few and would have better idea on typical hours required and parts prices.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
