New clutch part numbers
Hi all,
As some of you might have seen in another post, yesterday my clutch has gone. Not a happy bunny...
I have now two quotes, one from a Landrover dealer and one from a local indie.
Landrover quotes (euro):

And my local indie quotes (sorry for the dutch language):
Voor de onderdelen ( druklager, drukgroep, druklager, pomp onder, pomp boven en vliegwiel) 1300 euro incl. BTW
Voor het werk 550 euro incl. BTW (ongeveer 10 uren werk)
Alles samen komt het dan op 1850 euro.
Am I correct to say that the Landrover dealer did not include the flywheel?
What would the partnumber be for the flywheel and what would it cost?

Flywheel part number is LR024833 and costs approx. an eye watering €500.
Just a question...
Why is your dealer quoting a replacement gear position sensor (TXM500040)?Dennis

Thx Nighthawk. They quote the XYZ sensor because I had the EPB fault and the gears not displaying correctly....20 miles later I had no clutch anymore......
I agree that the sensor could come off the quote and doesn't need replacement....(maybe I should point them to this forum....)

The EPB fault and gear display was due to the clutch failing.
I'm pretty sure you won't need to replace the gear position sensor.
Best put those €180 towards the flywheel Dennis
