7 year/105K service quotes
Would anyone have an recommendations/or better still any of our resident outfits like to give me a quote for doing a 7year/105K service and belts please on our 2007 Dsico 3 please? might also involve pads all round and front discs!
We're based on Chelmsford Essex, but not don't mind travelling or if it's done by a mobile outfit.
Hav happily used 10forcash in the past, but Iain doesn't seem to be around,and I'm not sure he does the belt service anyway IIRC.

Try main dealer discounts website they normally come up with a few, or stratstone were doing a £399 belts deal or £599 belts and service deal, have a look on hear about the oil casing I think it is for the 07 and above think someone advised they had replaced something like that at the same time, sure someone else will be on to explain it better.Goodyear Duratracs

I took the expensive option last year for our 2005 D3 and exchanged it for a D4, however before doing this I looked at Taylors, Great Dunmow and Ongar Bridge (where I have bought the D3 and D4 from) and Stratstone Woodford (I think Ongar Bridge use Taylors for the belts anyway)
Ongar Bridge were quite expensive at nearly a £1000 for the service and belts. Taylors were about £400/500 for the belts and Stratstone couldnt come up with a price as they weren't sure about the offer that other Stratstones were doing
Obviously being in Chelmsford, you should know full well to stay away from our local main dealer - I did give the another chance in March with the D4 and they managed to scratch the door, mess up all the paperwork due to our personal plate and forgot to change the brake fluid !
Iain did all our work so is sorely missed.

Agreed on our local branch, and their other branch in Colchester...my experience was even worse than the lies I have been told by Chelmsford in the past.

Have you tried lespaul motors they specialise in landrover s just off the A12 near the redbridge roundabout, my mate has used them before and said they were good and helpful.

I had my belts and 105k service done last month by Broadfields garage in Canfield (near Dunmow), as recommended by others on the forum. Couldn't fault their customer service and will definitely use them again. Have used Gratech in Maldon in the past for servicing on Discos and Defenders. Again, good level of service, but not as good value as Broadfields.
