What Phone

I have had the bt upgrade and my nokia n8 has been working well with the car and to be honest I don't want to change my phone but as the screen fell out today I think I might need to replace the phone.
What are people using that work with the d3 bt module with the software upgrade that isn't an I phone.
Or has someone posted a list of compatible phones on here that I haven't seen.
Thanks Chris

I think they pretty much all work except for 'some' blackberries with certain software versions, but then they seem to work if you either downgrade or upgrade the firmware or software.

my other half has a nokia with windows 8 on it and that doesn't do the phone book it just lists 10 random numbers with no names. I am just worried that others do the same What is android like? I have an android tablet and get on with that but never seen an android phone in use.

Not tried it myself,it's VIN specific, but try www.landrover.com ....go to the "owners" section and then the Bluetooth section.....that might help

euan, LR's list is always sooooo far out of date its unreal.

Windows8, ISTR wiggs asking about having a few issues with it, but others working fine with it.

not only the list that's out of date LR made the whole phone connection was out of date when they built the car.
I will have to stop people in car park and see if they will let me try their phones Rolling with laughter

I went to the dunsfold collection the other week and LR had brought the new sport along for its first public outing in the uk its all very shiny but I still like my D3 but I had to be dragged away buy my other half when they were telling us how very clever the phone system is and integrates with your phone and mirrors the phone screen on the car screen and you have full control of your phone from the car and I think there is some stuff that works the other way from control of car bit from the phone BUT only iPhone. If you haven't guessed i have a hatred of I devices and was about to start ranting at the nice guy from Land rover thats why i was pulled away, but why does every one have to have an iPhone to access stuff now, every one I know that has one is either addicted to it or is fed up with it breaking now i come to think of it it's a lot like owning a land rover Embarassed .

Wiggs
I will try the nokia with windows 8 again but the car didn't like it last time I tried it.
I might see what the cost of getting my old one repaired is as it has a better camera than any other phone I have seen, it has 12Mp carl zeiss lens and does HD video and that is better than my digital camera. They are still an expensive old phone still selling at around £200 for old stock.
