Blackvue & power magic - hardwiring guide?
Searched high and low on the site but can't find if anyone's done a helpful pictorial step by step guide to address the above. Can anyone help? I'm after fitting a front-facing BV500 to a D3 on a permanent feed.

Lower bottom glovebox and fit an add a fuse to fuse 58 and I think 7 which is the towing electircs (off the top of my head, but somewhere around there)
Wire them to a blackvue power magic box and tuck it all in behind the glovebox.
Take the earth lead down to one of the earth bolts behind the left hand kick panel (undo the bonnet release and it just pops off)

Flick the airbag sign off the a pillar trim, then remove the trim
Feed some wire or a coat hanger down from the top to behind the glovebox and then tape the end of the power cable to it. Pull it back up and then feed the tip through the cable runs up at the side of the airbag and tuck it into the top headlining.

Chickened out of doing it myself, so emailed around for quotes.
Get this. Had a call back from a local garage: "We don't do reversing cameras as we could be liable in the event of a failure."
Me: "But it's not a reversing camera, it's a forward facing camera designed to purely record things in the event of any incident - it has no effect on what the driver does."
Them: "Same principal. It's our policy."

I did mine last weekend and followed amazing's instructions with just a couple of deviations.
If you pull the door seal off you will see the cable can be routed from the fuse box to the roof quite easily then getting from the roof side to centre light is not too bad with a wire coat hanger or similar.
If you get one of the mini blade add a fuse jobbies from eBay then connecting up is much easier.
