We were told on both the factory tour and the Gaydon tour that there will be a D5 on a totally new platform to share with the new RR and RRS.
Not being contrary Russell but I was in on of the other groups that same day & the conversation (in the 3d design cave ) was that the D3/4/? replacement was to be most likely sharing a platform with the Defender...this makes the numbers that have to be made more viable. BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Plastic wheel arches have gone as well.....far from subtle BREXIT - done properly.

Sounds good to me, depending on what it looks like of course.
I'll get my new D4 this year, meaning it's ready for a change around 2016 (all being well), gives the new model a year or so to undergo extended customer testing & development

I sure hope they won't take too many cues from the new RRS and.turn the D5 into a Discovery Evoque. Right now it's one of only a few cars a guy can stil drive without having to get his chest waxed. If the new disco gets the same round girly look as all the other new Land Rovers my next car will be a G-Wagon. 2012 D4 SDV6 HSE - Heavy Duty, Alpine Roof, Sidesteps, modded LR RAI, Stebel Nautilus, Trailer hitch cargo carrier - Best Car I've ever owned
2013 Mercedes GL500 - Iridium Silver - The Missus' car <- new A/C right after purchase, new motor mounts after 40k km. No problems with the Disco whatsoever.
