Feeling a bit left out.... |
|
I know its probably the kiss of death.....and I shouldn't really say it out loud...but the bloody thing is running like a dream...
Got a bit lively with it on a back road earlier, and it never fails to broaden the permagrin.... 8) ...in this weather just pottering around is a treat....
Treated it to some Millers on the previous fill-up,and some 2-stroke a couple of days ago,and its purring like a cat....
After 13.5k there is not a rattle or a squeak....everything feels as tight as a Yorkshireman.......
It does everything you could possibly ask of any car,in any conditions, and after a good clean, could still cut it as an Oscar-night limo......
There...now I've probably gone and done it.... "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I know exactly what you mean, eldest daughter is now home after graduating so we have been out and about in this glorious weather before she moves to London in August and it has been a delight to 'cruise' around the countryside in the D4, huge perma grin here Cheers Ian
