Just wondered if anyone has any info on the next generation Disco?
Surprisingly little on the web and haven't seen any discussions here either but when I stopped by at the local dealers for a dreaming trip, the guy there said because it will of course share the same new ali body of the RRS the D5 is just around the corner and he said it would be this side of Christmas. Suppose it's logical but i've seen nothing about it.
Not that i could afford one, just wondered if anyone knows any spy details? Nov 04 D3 TDV6 HSE Java Black

Hope you are right as my D3 is getting a bit tired and the D4 is not differentiated enough for me to find the extra £40k to upgrade. D5 will be though if the FFRR/RRS are anything to go by.

That sounds just perfect. I'll have owned my old bus 10 years by the time the D5 comes out so it'll be due for a change

I wouldn't want to buy any of the first lot though
I'd give them a year for continued 'owner test and development'

As to it being fitted to the all new RRSport, all will be revealed on 26th March.
Well at least we know that is happening now
The MPG difference between the TDV8 and TDV6/SDV6 was never that much in real life from my own experiences of them all but the extra grunt from 2 cylinders in the 3.6tdv8 was well worth it and the 4.4 is meant to be even better, especially after a remap FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
Test piloted a new D4 XS SDV6.. Gone and being forgotten i hope!!

Sorry could you say that again Russell
There could be good reasons if you really really have the money burning a hole in your pocket, but IMO if its a mild facelift it will only appeal to people who are already going to buy a D4 and can put it off a little while or those that MUST HAVE the latest looking disco for the school run FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

I think that 'minor' might be an overstatement. Getting the car into the half price VED rate would be a bigger reward.
