It must be great to live in a country where fuel prices mean a V8 or V6 SC are even worth considering. I find my 3.0TDV6 hard enough to run

yet the front indicators aren't visible, unless they shine through the phsyco covering.
If you look closely at the headlamps there is a cut out for the indicator, still no excuse for the number plate though.Cheers Ian

sometimes they will shift quite a few '60' plates in sept as that MY and then use next MY as a sales tool from oct nov onwards
if you are ordering be very specfic about the MY and get it in writingIllegitimi Non Carborundum

Yes you do have to be careful that you don't get an old model. I ordered mid August and was very specific about a 13MY.
Historically, the production of the new MY has usually started after the August shutdown during which they have done any necessary retooling \ processing for any new features ...last year was thrown right out by the introduction of the new FFRR onto the same line. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Interesting that they will have the new wing mirrors with led turn signal indicators right above the door indicator. The led will flash on and off a hair quicker than the standard 5w5 bulb in the door indicator, also be a different color. I wonder if LR will start using LEDs in some areas to match?16 D4 Landmark

The reason I ask is that I am due to change my car at the one year point (July). I wondered if it is worth waiting for the new car and whether the new car will have an impact on pre-facelift models.PAGODA

I would quite happily take the supercharged V6 petrol. On 10,000 miles PA and keeping the car for 5+ years as I do then fuel cost is not the most relevant variable.

Hmm That is strange as LRSV have refused to make the V8 for RHD i believe posts on here have said yet low and behold there is a D4 V8 SE on the kings highway....FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
Test piloted a new D4 XS SDV6.. Gone and being forgotten i hope!!

Yes but it's a LHD
Also it's SE spec which we don't get in the UK (only under the Landmark guise)....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

TBH if a 3.6 TDV8 or SC lump can go in that engine bay the an NA V8 surely can...
Anyway we digress, the lights do look more like the SSRR lights to m on the new model, maybe a shared component??FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
