I'm very interested to the MY14, because I would change my old D3.
I hope one of the changes will be the return of the shift rod, like on the new Range Sport MY2014.
In any case, someone know when the Discovery MY14 can be buy? My dealer in Italy told me MY14 will be available at the end of current year, but I hope it will arrive little before.D3 TDV6, Zermatt Silver, Coil Spring Suspension, Tyres 285/55 R 18

Production of 2014 MY will probably start in time to go on sale in the UK in September with sales in the Rest of the World starting slightly later.

I hear there are a couple of colour changes for MY14 D4.
Orkney Grey to be replaced by Corris Grey, slightly darker and more like Stornoway Grey.
Baltic Blue to be replaced by Loire Blue which is slightly lighter.
I'm starting to get interested as I'll be changing my D4 in September / October for a MY14

Thanks Dexter,
have you got further news regarding the other modifications on MY2014?
For example, will LR modify something inside the car or in the engine/gearbox/suspension?
Ciao

I might consider an MY14 as I really love the D3/D4!Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

one fing that was mentioned on our Gaydon tour t'other month as we drove through the compound where all the camoflauge vehicles were is that often they are testing component parts not even relevant to the bodyshell used, for example the new 7 seater evoque is visable as a stretched FL2.
This particular car was parked up down by the watch tower along side another D4 of which they both had different wing mirror designs...one d4 had smashed ones

I have a D4 arriving in June (ordered at the of flippin' January - grrrr) and my Orkney Grey order is apparently being built as Corris Grey. Assume this is an early change in advance of the other changes.

2014 MY will probably go into build after the factory summer shutdown and will start being delivered to customers in the UK towards the end of September, if previous years are anything to go by.

Scotia Grey
Does anyone know if Scotia Grey will be available for the 14MY? It is listed for the RR and RRS, and looks like an appealing colour, with a greenish tinge. Perhaps enough to persuade me to change!
