Stu, why those cut-outs in the base plate? Wouldn't it be simpler to have it rectangular?

DSL hi...

What kind of cargo barrier you have ..or had...it does not look OEM cargo divider, it looks like it sits more close to the back seats

The pitch of the two outside rear bolts are wider than the seat, so the plate needs to be wider at that point. Then I just thought it looked better shaped like the slide-loc base Whistle

You could use the two 'inside rear' holes, but then you'd need captive nuts for the slide-loc fixings.

Still have it, I fit it as & when required. It's made up for a dealer in the UK that does/did a commercial conversion (glorified legal tax dodge by turning the car into a van) for D3s, FFRRs, etc. it fits the profile of the front seats. Never seen another like it but kit is very handy to use car as camper or mini expedition wagon. Smile

OK, not to resurrect an incredibly old thread - but to add useful info for clueless people like me I made a blog post about getting my Engel fridge into the Disco 4:

And as some posts never die - I have been asked for pictures of the Engel in the car, and I am happy to oblige. Sorry for the mess in the car...

Cheerio,
Thorsten
