Not fitted one before but this is what I' can make out

Remove the jubilee clip holding the upper front pipe to the right of the air cleaner assembly located front left

The air cleaner assembly i beleave just pulls up out of the two mounting grommets
Don't forget to unplug the mass air flow sensor under the jubilee clip
This will then give acces to the air intake duct

The a pillar trim pulls off I don't think any screws are used

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help

Good luck Chris

I've fitted a snorkel to mine.

From memory you'll need to completely disconnect and remove the air box - take the top off, remove filter, disconnect the ducting that runs across the rad, disconnect the fitting to the duct that runs through the wing, remove lower air box section.

Pull out air intake grille in wing - pull out the ducting - it'll have a rubber connector to the grille - the duct hose looks a bit like a big vacuum cleaner hose.

Pull off the A pillar trim - it's clipped on like the rest of LR trim - get some new clips because chances are you'll break one or two.

And then....

Prepare to drill holes in the wing and A pillar and cut the inner wing . Did you get the fitting instructions and templates?

Yea got all the instructions and templates, but itx just how to dismantle to air bok, grill and a-pillar.

So you just pull the grill and ducting out, no clips?
Yup, air box needs to come out, so once pipes n filters are off/out does that just pull out?
And finally, how is the A-pillar attached? What clips, where? Im sure iv seen instructions on the site but cant find them again Crying or Very sad

Thanks.

Fight. Grill off, A-pillar off, air box should be ok unlsss there are any bidden bolts?

How do you attach the snorkel body to the wing? The body is moulded with inserted nuts and you screw in some studs. You also get some nuts which fit on the other end of the studs but how the hell do you get to them?

Instructions say 'install the studs into the snorkel body inserts and carefully instal the body onto the guard guiding the body snout onto the flexi hose. Fasten the body to the guard and upper mounting brackets using necessary hardwear'

Am i being stupid?!?!

You'll find it easier with a helper - my lad helped me.

Get the studs into the captive nuts then carefully stretch the ducting out of the grille a little - you can then fit it onto the snorkel body. ISTR I used a little tiger seal before clamping with the hose clip.

Then fit into the holes in the wing - you'll need to slide your hand in between the inner / outer wings to fit the nuts - with the wheel arch out it's doable.
