United Kingdom 2013 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Baltic BlueDiscovery 4

Tempus fugit and the D4 now needs an MoT.

Anyway, achieved a good clean pass this morning with the only advisory to remind me the engine bay is assembled correctly. The MoT chap happens to be a Discovery enthusiast going all the way back to the original D1, so we had a natter.

United Kingdom 2015 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Corris GreyDiscovery 4

Less stress when it's the 1st MOT. Although I once owned an XJR that failed it's 1st one Embarassed

Looking back through the thread interesting to see petrol was £1.34 a ltr only last June. Paying 99p here at the moment. Quite a saving on a tankfull.

Mine is up for 1st mot March 21st. She's off to Guy Salmon tomorrow for a health check and a few niggles to be looked at.
1. Knock on front suspension, and when dabbing the brakes.

2. Rumble between 50-70 felt through steering wheel.

3. Ignition key fallen to bits.

Hopefully get all the expensive bits done under warranty before it expires.

Remember to get the MOT done three or 4 weeks early so it's all under warranty. And it's still dated from the 3 year date.

Or remember from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Big Cry Big Cry
