Well, end of the working week and apart from it looking a little less shiny I am a happy bunny.
Nothing of note on the snag list yet as everything tested so far seems to work. Found some torn rubbery grey foam sticking out of the bonnet hinge area on one side but ok on the other. Not sure what it is for as I don't remember having such foam on the D3, or noticing it on any D4s I have played with.
Looking forward to playing with more stuff over the weekend but not made a decision on fitting my winter wheels or not. Wondering how accurate the mpg display is (it was very accurate on my D3) as a the moment it is showing a running average of 34 mpg on the first 108 miles since it was born - surely too good to be true??
No idea where to stow my sunglasses with no rubbery coin tray like on the D3…
Glad I made the change but my wallet is still crying in the corner.

The average is from every fill of fuel since the first, as per the fuel app shown above. I have tweaked the MPG display on the D4 to match the real-world calculations.
