Aah it would help if I looked a little more closely I did wonder why there was the ability to enter so many licenses.
It's all working now.
But what's is adaptive reset?

Hi Mark
That got me initially!
You need to put the unlock code into the slot associated with your licence number. Eg. If your Licence 11, then the unlock code goes into slot 11.
Hope this helps

If unlock code 1,2,3 ect
place in same on position on nanocom 1 in 1, 3 in 3, 11 in11ect
I had the same problem, unlock code not saved, only because i did no scroll to end of unlock code list on the nanocom then save.
If that has been done allready.

hey guys,
i obviously crashed my ride-level ecu!?
as i had a suspension fault a couple of days ago after i changed the dryer, etc. i wanted to try to update the software.
so i read the ecu-info with my nanocom and went to genesis with this info!
was the following:
Ride Level - SALLAAA148A442846
HARDWARE NUMBER:RQT500170
SERIAL NUMBER:275279343
SOFTWARE NUMBER:NNV504760
CALIBRATION DATA 2:N.A.
VIN NUMBER:SALLAAA148A442846
ASSEMBLY CORE NO:N.A.
ASSEMBLY PART NO:
DELIVERY ASSEMBLY NO:RQT500170
SOFTWARE NUMBER 2:N.A.
BOOT SOFTWARE ID:RQT500170
ACTIVE NETWORK CONF:bñ
CALIBRATION PART NO:N.A.
CALIBRATION DATA 3:N.A.
SOFTWARE NUMBER 3:N.A.
i did choose:
saved the file onto the sd-card and wanted to flash like i did before for the 4x4-info!!
flashing started the normal way! during the process, the flashing stopped and said something about incorrect VIN or so!!
now the display shows me a red symbol for the suspension and the terrain response is inaktive!!!!! sais: system fault special programs not available!!
the ride-level ecu can no longer be found in the ecu-list!!!!!
if i try to start flashing again it says: ECU identification error!!!!
what can i do now?!

You need to put a decent charger on you D3 battery before you start any programming , a lesson I've learnt the hard way when using my MSV2

I'm sure I'm not alone with these queries
Can someone please tell me in simple terms exactly how to use this box of tricks.
I have registered it ,joined the forum but what's this genesis thing?
Anything else I have to do?
Geoff you say fit a battery charger, what happens if I don't?
I was under the impression it was just a plug and play machine,
Would I be likely to knacker something if I pressed the wrong button?
Thanks for your knowledgable answers o wise ones
