Hi Chris or Colin,
I have received my nanocom via DHL just in time for xmas . I have registered it a couple of hours ago online and I am able to log in on the nanocom site, however I don't appear to have any unlock codes as of yet. will I have to wait until BBS are back to work on January 7th or will the codes follow shortly?

Regarding the "Unable to find SBL File" error.
Are you putting the unzipped files in the BBS folder. See BBS instructions below?:
On the root of the Nanocom’s SD card are two folders:
- SBL
- BBS
The SBL folder should not be tampered with as it already contains all the required files.
To set up flashing on the Nanocom, you must go into (or open) the BBS folder. Inside that folder you create another folder with a name of no more than 8 characters, for example:
- flashIPC – for the Instrument Pack
- flashRLM – for the Ride Level Module
The folder names don’t really matter, but they MUST be no more than 8 characters as the Nanocom can only display folders with that amount of characters.
Now, inside these newly created folders you will put the files you have downloaded through Genesis. So, for example, the final layout that would be set up to flash the Instrument Pack would be as follows:
- BBS > flashIPC > [INFO + VBF Files Here]
With this set up you should then successfully be able to go in to ECU Programming on the Nanocom and flash the ECU you have downloaded the appropriate files for through Genesis.
Addition you can have only 4 folders inside the BBS folder as the unit cannot scroll down and can therefore only display the initial 4

My shiny new nanocom after being delivered on monday, is now siting under the crimbo tree all wrapped with a bow on.
I did manage to register/update it before Mrs TT got her mits on it.
so it's ready to go.
So here's hoping by next wednesday when im let loose with it on the D3,
I'll have read all about what or what not to do all ready
Keep at it lads RRSport MY12hse but don't hold that against lill o me
Hybrid TV, cubby Fridge, Surround Camera's, Sun Roof.
Disco 3 MY05hse Sadly gone
All alone in my own little world,
But everybody knows me there, so I'm ok.
It could be that this part is not finished yet on the D4 as thats why it cant find the file in the directory, I have not had chance to try it out fully on a D4 so not sure what we can do on it yet...?
I seem to remember in the testing of the D3 when a module was not enabled I got the same or similar failure message.

Hi guys,
Just got back from the (extended) Christmas party, typing with one eye open... you know the feeling, don't lie ( I have no idea what the Victor face is for but it seemed appropriate for this and i have always wanted to use it)
There are a few questions in this thread, some answered from members (thank you) some not. Someone asked if they have to wait until the 7th for registration etc... to answer
Officially yes you have to wait until the 7th. But no. I will be around as much as possible to register, create logins, resolve unlock codes and solve as many problems as I can over the holidays. We do realise this is one of the few times a year you can all do your tinkering so we will try our best. But please be aware this is offsite "unofficial" support, meaning its not staffed fom 9-5 weekdays, but I do promise I will do my best to help. I hope by now the Disco3 clan know I will go out of my way, and hours, to do what i can.
Hopefully, when Colin wakes up in 6 days im sure he will also help
Tomorrow I will answer all pressing issues posted so far,
Had a play with EAS today, seems my existing preset heights are all over the shop yet the car drives fine
Anyone know what they should be set to?
That sounds right - they are arbitrary numbers that relate to the specific ride height sensor - there is a process to go through involving tight tolerance, a tape measure and some maths - I know the procedure on the IID tool, but not sure on the Nanocom.Mark.

Thanks Mark Phew so nothing wrong then, maybe have a play at adjusting ride height up and down etc, it has tight tolerance mode so will see what I have time for Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Can't get mine to work Ive registered it and put in the unlock code but when I try anything on the car it goes through the vehicle identification then fails with the message Function Locked the unlock code is missing/invalid for this vehicle model/system.
I've put the code in 4 times with different variations of the text ??
Any ideas?
